Breezesta from the local store is a strong contender. Would not expect it to last beyond 3-5 years however, possibly less. Could get an entire set for the price of a single chair & table. The Costco sets actually look like a bargain compared to high end furniture at our local store. Their sets tend to be flimsy, use a lot of thin sheet steel or aluminum for frames, aren't very attractive. The HD/Lowes sets aren't really contenders. They were priced higher than Breezesta but not sky high like some others. They also carry Telescope brand which uses a combination of aluminum and UV treated polymer for their builds. An Adirondack chair was "only" $400 - still quite a high price but Adirondacks aren't cheap anywhere for some reason. They're ostensibly made from recycled materials, look pretty good and come in a large array of colors that be selected for subframe elements when ordering. However they do carry a brand called Breezesta: A round table with a fire pit in the middle could be $2500. A chair might be $1200 which would buy you an entire patio set at HD! Then we went to an actual outdoor furniture store: The stores don't carry anything like that, no way to preview. Seems like they have a decent variety, prices are about $2500+ for an entire set. We do like them but it would be a blind order since we can't go sit in the chairs.ĭid glance at Costco online as well. Example stained wood:Īnother one, painted wood, even comes with cushions: We're a family of four but would like a seat up to 8.ĭid check Ikea online but the local stores don't carry much of their inventory. (BTW we live in central TX - yes plenty of critters in the summer, some storms in the spring, high summer heat, occasional freezing weather in the winter.) I'd like something that we can spray with a hose when it comes time to clean it. Small critters would like find a way to nest in there. I'm not a huge fan of wicker in a frame, I can see it being very difficult to clean and be an instant dust magnet. ![]() ![]() My wife is adamantly against metal frames and would rather have wicker, wood or plastic frames. Have already looked at the local HD/Lowes but haven't found styles that match what we'd like. ![]() We need some patio furniture, a dining set.
